It is “Word of the Year” time. Before 2025 begins, the unveiling of what I will especially notice during this new year. (Are you ready with yours?)
Mine is: PEACE
It is always good to give Jesus the first – and the last- word on anything. He said:
27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] John 14:27 AMP
Peace and permission seem to be connected, according to Jesus. I expect I need to learn a lot about that this year.
But King Jesus has bequeathed His peace to me. Lovely word: bequeathed. What an inheritance!
