Going There
A sun-shot hammock,
Glowing with promise,
Waiting for a person
To crawl in,
Exhale, breathe in deeply
The peace and the beauty.
Two palm trees,
Like guardian angels,
Hover calmly in the sky’s sapphire canopy.
Soft sand waits below;
Water laps with a soothing rhythm.
