Another life metaphor: Life is like a desk drawer.
I open it and see possibilities. Tools, skills, and materials beckon.
These need organizing for easy access and retrieval.
But they need my initiative and diligence to take them out and make use of them, for their intended purpose.
Part of this is being grateful for the contents of my own drawer.Someone said “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
I must give thanks for the tools, skills, and materials God has given me and use them for His good purposes.
