And now...questions from the greatest person who ever walked this earth.

Jesus is recorded in the Gospels asking more than 250 questions. (People also asked Him many questions, but He did not always answer them.)

Here is a sampling of what He asked during his three years of public ministry.

From Matthew’s Gospel: (NIV)

“If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?”(5:46)

“Is not life more than food, and the body more important than clothes?” (6:25)

“Who of you, by worrying, can add a single hour to his life?”(6:27)

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”(7: verse 3)

“You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” (8:26)

“Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?” (9:4)

“Who do you say that I am?” (16:15)

“What do you want me to do for you?” (20:32)

From Mark’s Gospel:(NIV)

“Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?” (12:24)

From Luke’s Gospel:(NIV)

“Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (2:49)

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord’ and not do what I say?” (6:46)

“If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?” (16:11)

“Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” (22:48)

From John’s Gospel:(NIV)

“Do you want to get well?” (5:6)

“Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?” (8:46)
