It’s Valentine’s Day soon, so here are some thoughts- beyond hearts, flowers, and chocolate. True love is a year-round matter!

I remember Robert Schuller saying that when he was growing up on the farm, he noticed that whenever his mother seemed to be feeling “down” she would bake a pie.
Then she would say: “Take this to________________.” And he did. But he took “in” a priceless lesson about getting out of the dungeon mentioned in today’s quotation.
My “self” is negative, whiny, mean, gossipy, lazy, envious, angry - a dark, dank dungeon if there ever was one! The Good News is that Jesus is in me, and He loving, kind, pure, peaceful and the very best mentor from whom to learn how to truly love others.
